Joyeux Noël!

Wow, it's crazy to think that in just a few days it will be Christmas! I'm super excited to spend time with my family and of course open a few presents.  Also, I've already prepared for the complete food coma that I'm sure I will be in! My home is all decked out (thanks to my parents) and totally gives the perfect Christmas feeling that makes you just want to go bundle up by the fire with a cup of warm hot cocoa!
My house is surrounded with glitter, gold, and rustic decorations. This year we chose to have a real Christmas tree, opposed to a fake one, and instead decorated it with popcorn garland and "vintagesque" ornaments. We then topped it off with perfectly paired wrapped presents. I absolutely love the way everything looks. How is your house decorated? Do you prefer real or fake trees?

  1. so festive, your tree is lovely! :)
and I've always preferred real trees even though they shed needles everywhere -- they smell SO good! :)
    Merry Christmas to you too!

    1. great post honey, i really love this tree.
      happy christmas!

  2. I love seeing other people's christmas decorations! I hope your Christmas was wonderful. I bet your house smelled amazing with that real tree! I'm afraid if we had a real tree, our dog would eat it. :P yes, he eats trees...

  3. Merry Christmas Rachel!

What a beautiful tree! We have a real one as well - our favorite because the house smells like fresh pine!

  4. Gorgeous decorations and those presents look so nice :D
We have a really cool tree this year! Normally we have a fake one but this year we got a real one :) smells so much nicer
Although we had to cut the roots as it was too big for our living room haha, shame though we won't get to plant it in the garden after.
